RAUVOLET acoustic-line

An intelligent solution for sound absorption

RAUVOLET acoustic-line is a completely new, acoustically effective tambour door system for use in office and working environments. For the first time, sound is absorbed on the furniture front thanks to a patented profile design with an innovative interior construction.

The desire for an open-plan office, transparency and shorter communication channels, as well as the trend reflecting materials, provide room acoustics planning with a new challenge.

Hollow ceiling cavities often fall pray to aesthetic and functional considerations and areas separating a room often have to make way for team or group work stations.
This places more focus on the fittings and furnishings. Furniture with acoustically effective surfaces reduces the expansion of direct sound and protects the employee from unwanted noise (noise level).

However, only a specific combination of various products ranging from floor, ceiling, wall and furniture can achieve an integrated acoustic solution.

RAUVOLET acoustic-line is an excellent system for furniture sound absorption. The broad band absorber excels with his good absorption characteristics in the low as well as high frequency level and reduces the noise exposure in the language-relevant range (150 - 4.000 Hz) for the working environment.

The patented product made from the material polypropylene boasts a special profile geometry with end-to-end whole punching and acoustic nonwoven material is applied to the inside of the hollow section.

The system with the product variant RAUVOLET acoustic-line 12mm and a sound absorption rate of αw = 0,8 qualifies for he sound absorption class B "highly absorbing".The product variant RAUVOLET acoustic-line 8mm with its sound absorption rate αw = 0,75 achieves an absorption class C "absorbing".

RAUVOLET acoustic-line is available as a fabricated tambour door mat for cabinet and partition walls with 8 and 12 mm track systems.
