RAUKANTEX Tools
RAUKANTEX tools provide you with all you need for the professional finishing of edgeband products.
The RAUKANTEX applicator is recommended for applying hot-melt adhesive coated edgebands. This device is especially suitable for corner jointing, i.e. bonding of the edgeband in the 90° inner corner area.
RAUKANTEX guillotine
New edgeband materials with aluminium tops or inserts are also processed with hand held edgebanding machines. However, this technique is limited and therfore REHAU application engineers have developed and patented a guillotine that facilitates the precision cutting of butt jointed edgebands.
RAUKANTEX polishing tool
The RAUKANTEX polishing tool comes into it's own whenever sharp edges or special components require polishing or rounding off, e.g. after processing with the RAUKANTEX cutter set.
RAUKANTEX Service-Set
This set includes everything that is is required for trouble-free finishing of edgebands and provides a fast repair of any damages.
RAUKANTEX Cutter-Set
Processing of RAUKANTEX edgebands in ABS, PC or PP is easy and effortless with the RAUKANTEX cutter set.
The adjustable guides allow processing of edgebands up to 56 mm width and 3mm thickness.
The RAUKANTEX applicator can be used for both application in coating a left and a right corner area.
Where the edgeband emerges from the applicator, a guide shoe is attached which fixes the edgeband at the required height.
Furthermore, a pressure pin is attached to the guide shoe which allows pressure to be applied to the edgeband evenly into the corner.
RAUKANTEX guillotine
In the furniture industry, a hand held bonding device is frequently used for edgebanding on free shapes. This device is used for bonding thermoplastics edgebands to chipboard or worktops, e.g. where a single strip of edgeband is butt jointed to the entire perimeter of a bistro table.
RAUKANTEX polishing tool
Sanding and polishing lends edgebands a high quality appearance. The same process also removes excess adhesive residues without damaging the edgeband's decorative designs or board surface, whilst being gentle to the materials. In this way, the tool combines two work processes in one operation.
RAUKANTEX Service-Set
RAUKANTEX Service-Set includes the RAUKANTEX acrylic paint, RAUKANTEX sponge sanding block, RAUKANTEX edge fix - a touch-up applicator, RAUKANTEX internal and external plane and RAUKANTEX finisher or RAUKANTEX polishing felt.
RAUKANTEX Cutter-Set
The RAUKANTEX cutter set includes an edge cutter, an external plane as well as an internal plane.
This design of the RAUKANTEX applicator allows an easy, trouble-free and exact bonding of the edgeband up to the corner area.
