As an award-winning supplier and long-term successful development partner, REHAU plays a key role in the production of the Audi Q7. We manufacture and paint a complete range of front and rear bumpers in all variations and colors for the new SUV (generation Sports Utility Vehicle). In addition, the air conduction systems, the lines for headlight cleaning systems and hoses for the windshield cleaning systems come from our plant in Viechtach, Germany.
Our service package is convincing. Refined bumper systems from REHAU – with bordered radiator grille in front – shape the distinctive appearance of the Q7 variants. Hidden behind the sleek design one finds extensive technology in the details. In the lower region of the front system, for example, integrated polypropylene foam ensures optimal pedestrian protection.
The scope of the Q7 in all variations, including additional trim packages and American variations, is both a challenge and an incentive for REHAU. For the tenth time in the last 15 years, we have participated in a bumper project for the renowned automotive manufacturer. But this has by no means become a routine. We rise to new challenges each day as we support automotive manufacturers in their efforts to systematically optimize design, comfort and safety.
