Underfloor Heating

Installations for all applications

Project: Orchard Building, Stranmills University College
System: REHAU RAUFIX System
City: Belfast
Requirement: The new BREEAM Very Good rated building incorporates a range of low carbon initiatives, and the polymer pipework is an integral part of that
Project: Snow Dome
System: REHAU Underfloor Cooling System
City: Hemel Hempstead
Solution: REHAU pipework was chosen for the installation because of its proven quality and performance under extreme conditions and also because it could be extruded at REHAU's plant as a clear polymer to allow the installation team toobserve the glycol flow whenever this was required.
Project: Headington Music School
System: REHAU Diffusion Plate System
City: Oxford
Requirement: To give a level surface for the acoustic floor, and deliver an even and consistent warmth across the whole floor area.
Solution: REHAU was chosen by consultants Gifford, who wanted a solution specifically designed for timber floors.
Project: Kinsale Lifeboat Station
System: REHAU Underfloor Heating, REHAU RAUGEO Pipework
City: Kinsale, Ireland
Requirement: Using tidal sea water as the energy source for a ground source heating installation.
Solution: Loops of RAUGEO pipework have been fitted within 8 of the 18 three metre deep concrete caissons contained within a structural grid. These will use the tidal flow of the sea as the energy source to supply a ground-source heat pump within the new station, which in turn will deliver heat for a REHAU underfloor heating system.
