REHAU are proud to present a new solution for the premium house builder and discerning homebuyer, REHAU SOLUS an underfloor heating system for joisted floors, which can be installed safely from below into upper-floor rooms including luxury bedrooms and en-suites.
Underfloor Heating for Joisted Floors 
REHAU SOLUS comprises of REHAU's manufactured cross-linked Polyethylene pipe which meets the highest standards plus 1000mm aluminium plates, which can be cut to smaller sizes if required. With few parts, installation is fast, simple and effective.
- Cost Effective Luxury - As well as providing greater freedom of design with no obtrusive space consuming radiators, REHAU SOLUS is comparatively inexpensive to run and install. The absence of corrosion also removes the requirement for future costly maintenance expenses.
- Installation from Below - REHAU SOLUS's aluminium plates are fixed to the underside of a joisted floor using a hand held staple gun. The heating pipes then clip quickly and firmly into place. Such a rapid easy installation will save the house-builder valuable time and money whilst providing a superior heating system to the home-buyer.
- Faster Build Programme - As the installation of REHAU SOLUS is from below, the danger if installers falling through open joists is eliminated. Thus, the necessity to cordon off areas for health and safety reasons is removed. This means that their trades are not delayed in the completion of their tasks and the all important Build Programme Schedule is speeded up
- Energy Efficiency - REHAU SOLUS utilises the excellent conductive properties of aluminium to achieve substantial outputs for a range of flow temperatures, making it a premium choice for use with a wide selection of heating sources. To achieve the required output for continual comfort in upstairs rooms REHAU SOLUS is designed to operate within the optimal efficiency range for condensing boilers.
- Compatible with all Joist Types - REHAU SOLUS uses 12 z 1.1mm Universal pipe which is easily thread through holes drilled in the joists. No notching of joists is required, helping to ensure that REHAU SOLUS is compatible with all the latest type of engineered joists available.
With the unique fixing method of the pipe from below, this straight forward underfloor heating system can be combined with standard insulation methods to offer high performance without the need for costly pre-fabricated solutions.
Recommended insulation includes Glass wool (100mm thick, Thermal conductivity > 0.04 W.m-1.K-1) cut to size on site or supplied in rolls that fit between the joists, as recommended by the latest building regulations for the purpose of sound deadening.
