RAUPIANO PLUS
THE SOUND INSULATED WASTE WATER SYSTEM

RAUPIANO PLUS is designed for heavy-duty drainage systems in accordance with DIN EN 12056 and DIN 1986 – 100 inside buildings and has been approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) (ABZ-42.1-223).
The pipes, fittings and sealing elements can be used at up to 95° (short-term). They are suitable for draining chemically aggressive waste water with a pH value of between 2 (acidic) and 12 (alkaline). The fire behaviour corresponds to B2 normally inflammable in accordance with DIN 4102. The pipe connections are watertight up to a water pressure of 0.5 bar (5 m water column).
For use in areas where, during installation, temperatures of below - 10°C are commonplace, additional testing is required in accordance with BS EN 1451. RAUPIANO PLUS has passed this test and can therefore be marked “ice crystal” in accordance with BS EN 1451 and 1411 and can also be installed in such regions.
For what applications can RAUPIANO PLUS NOT be used?
Pipes and fittings must not be used for:
- Lines subject to a permanent load of more than 90°C (short-term 95°)
- Lines that carry waste water containing benzene or benzol
- Underground lines
- Exposed outside lines
What pipe dimensions are available?
RAUPIANO PLUS is available in nominal diameters of DN 40 to DN 160. An extensive range of fittings and fastenings rounds off the system.

Why has RAUPIANO got a three-layer wall structure?
The multi-layer structure leads to increased pipe rigidity. In addition, the abrasion-resistant and low-friction inner layer and the impact-resistant outer layer provide optimum properties as a modern domestic drainage system.
How Contribute The RAUPIANO PLUS Pipe Fittings to Reduce Noise?
Where there are changes in direction, there is a danger that the pipe system will begin to vibrate locally in critical drainage situations. This may have a negative effect on the noise-related properties.
In order to minimise this effect, a targeted mass optimisation has been carried out in bends of the nominal diameters DN 90, DN 110 and DN 125. This stabilises the noise-related behaviour, reduces noise development and thus achieves greater sound insulation in the area of impact.
How Can RAUPIANO PLUS Cope With The Matter Of Fire Protection?
In order to fulfil all necessary fire safety properties, the system includes an extensive and in accordance to BS 476 system-tested range of fireproofing collars.
