PE-RC and PE 100 probes
Installed in vertical boreholes
REHAU’s new generation of ground-source probes are made of PE-RC, which stands for Polyethylene Resistant to Crack. It is defined as an advanced non-cross linked polyethylene, characterised by longer lateral chains compared to PE 100. These create an increased resistance to stress cracking and puncture loads (Full Notch Creep Test > 3,300h). All the other properties of PE-RC are the same as conventional PE 100 (temperature resistance, requirement for welded connections). PE 100 probes are also available.
- PE-RC probes can withstand puncture loads
- Small probe tip diameter for easy installations
- Probe tips factory welded (externally monitored) to SKZ HR3.26 German probe standard
- Probe tip vertically ribbed to increase mechanical resistance
- Pressure losses minimised through smooth bend at probe tip
- Probe lengths from 50 - 300m
- Probe diameters in 32mm and 40mm (SDR 11)
- Weights and spacers available
- UNO and DUO version (single or double loops)
