Biogas/Anaerobic Digestion

Energy Efficient heat and electricity generation

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is the process of converting organic matter (such as animal or food waste) into methane and then into electricity and heat. The waste heat energy is then often used for district heating schemes. The technology is very common in Europe and is growing in popularity in the UK. The fermenter requires a constant temperature of around 40C, which is provided by pipework situated inside the tank. The RAUBIO range was specifically designed for AD plants and offers the highest reliability even in the difficult waste environment inside a fermenter.
