REHAU has access to international procurement markets through our global network of buying centres. We continuously involve our suppliers to optimise the value-added supply-chain management with the aim of offering our customers a competitive advantage.

REHAU Material Group Management

Purchasing and technical departments jointly evaluate potential suppliers. We involve multiple suppliers early in the development phase through concept competitions and assess them using a quality assurance system.
REHAU maintains approximately 350 material groups in the following areas:

  • Raw materials

  • Purchased parts

  • Machinery / Tools

  • Transport


    • Suppliers systematically undergo a process analysis and following joint release by purchasing and technical departments, are incorporated in the supplier pool of the respective material group.

    Continuous and automated supplier evaluations form the standards for the supplier pool classification.
    Products, production processes and logistics procedures are constantly being scrutinised. Continuous improvement measures are shared with suppliers and Supplier Innovation Days are held.
