REHAU PVC-U WINDOWS CHOSEN TO REPLACE TIMBER

REHAU PVC-U WINDOWS CHOSEN TO REPLACE TIMBER
High security and low maintenance were the key reasons for the specification of REHAU windows in a probabtion hostel in Maidstone.

Timber sash windows in the property had deteriorated and needed to be replaced with a cost effective but high performing alternative.

Specialist contractors Relocity chose 'mock' vertical sliders fabricated in REHAU's S706 system, with sash horns in order to satisfy the specific requirements of the building's users without compromising on it soverall appearance.

The casement windows were less expensive than either timber or PVC-U vertical sliders but still met the high performance standards required.

28 replacement windows were installed by Jewel Windows of Ashvale in just two weeks, and Jewel impressed Relocity so much that they were awarded a fast track follow on contract in Birmingham for 85 similar windows and 12 doors as a direct result.

The windows were fabricated by Belfast based Dessian Products, which supplies Jewel Windows with a comprehensive range of windows and doors in REHAU S706 and REHAU Tritec with BFRC A, B or C ratings as required.
