TEXT BOOK INSTALLATION OF REHAU UNDERFLOOR HEATING

TEXT BOOK INSTALLATION OF REHAU UNDERFLOOR HEATING Narbeth School
The installation of REHAU’s underfloor heating system at Narberth Primary School in West Wales was judged to be one of the best ever by client Pembrokeshire County Council.

Carried out by M&E contractors Lorne Stewart at the new build school, it was considered a text book example of how the pipework should be laid, joints and manifolds fixed and screed poured.

Pembrokeshire County Council specified the REHAU system on the basis of its quality and chose Cardiff based Lorne Stewart which is an experienced REHAU authorised partner, trained in the installation of the system at the REHAU Training Academy.

Pipework was laid throughout the 1659m² floor area at the school with almost 9000m of REHAU’s PE-Xa pipe used in a double meander pattern. The heat source is gas fired condensing boilers which operate at maximum efficiency when combined with underfloor heating.

The pipework and complete system was supplied by REHAU’s appointed stockists BSS Ltd. The school is expected to open shortly.
