REHAU MEETS DEMANDS OF SUSTAINABLE HOMES
On Stand M272, REHAU is focusing on its range of thermally efficient PVC-U window systems, REHAU Polytec 50 composite curtain walling system and renewable energy products.

With the Code for Sustainable Homes now mandatory for new build homes in the UK, REHAU will be explaining how its products can be used in the residential sector to satisfy the Environmental Sustainability criteria.

An interactive Perspex model will be the centrepiece of the stand which, along with a DVD presentation, will demonstrate to visitors REHAU’s range of solutions including rainwater harvesting, ground air heat exchangers and ground source and underfloor heating systems as well as PVC-U windows, doors and curtain walling

REHAU will also be giving details of how all its window systems can be used to achieve at least a C rating under the British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) scheme and quality for the Energy Saving Recommended mark. It will focus on its newest BFRC A rated window in the REHAU Edge 70mm system which is actually a net contributor to the energy demand of the building, contributing more energy through solar gain than is lost via thermal transmission and air leakage.

REHAU will be further promoting its environmentally friendly, energy efficient credentials with a prize draw which will give visitors the chance to win one of three wind-up prizes including the latest ‘must have’ DAB radio.

REHAU’s commercial sales team will be on the stand throughout the show to give advice on specifying and installing REHAU’s windows, doors, curtain walling and sustainable energy products.
