REHAU WINDOWS CHOSEN FOR HOTEL CONVERSION PROJECT

REHAU WINDOWS CHOSEN FOR HOTEL CONVERSION PROJECT
REHAU fabricator NCE Windows has supplied casement and bespoke windows and doors for a picturesque hotel conversion project in Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria.

Fabricated in REHAU’s S706 70mm system, the windows have replaced aluminium windows which were in place previously.

The stone façade hotel has been converted into luxury apartments and PVC-U windows were felt to be an essential part of the specification. They matched the styling and sightlines of the originals, with NCE using specialist bending company Arcoframe to produce arched top windows for the top floor of the building.

The NCE windows were chosen because of the exceptional weather performance of the REHAU S706 system on the exposed site overlooking Morecambe Bay. The St Helens based company had also previously supplied windows to the developer who had been impressed with the quality and service provided.

NCE manufactures around 250 frames per week for the trade and commercial sectors. Since it was established in 2005, it has focused on providing a personal, tailored service to installers and developers across Merseyside and the North West and its success has enabled it to expand rapidly.
